Our Mission

Welcome to the Surrey Sharks Field Hockey Club web site.

The Surrey Sharks Field Hockey Club was established in 1995 and is based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

The primary goals of our club are:

To promote the sport of field hockey in the Province of British Columbia, regardless of age, ability or gender of participants
To promote good sportsmanship and to emphasize fair play
To foster respect for players, coaches, managers, officials and spectators

Our History

The Surrey Sharks Field Hockey Club is based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada and has players from Surrey, Delta, Cloverdale, Langley, White Rock and various other communities in the Lower Mainland. The Sharks club is always looking for new members to participate in the Minis program, the Junior, Women and Men's leagues.

The club was started in 1995 by Deanna and Don Wilson and has grown from 15 players to now more than 300 members.
